VERY IMPORTANT RACE DAY INSTRUCTIONS – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

This race information email includes everything you need to know about the start, finish, number collection, parking and much more.

Race numbers will be available on the morning from Middlewich Cricket Club.
The registration desk will open at 09:00AM for 5K Race and Family Fun Run

Please note the Family Fun Run takes place at the Cricket Club, starting at 10:00AM.
The Holdcroft GWM Ora Middlewich 5K Race starts at the Big Lock Pub at 11:00AM, which is a 5 minute walk from the Cricket Club.

Entries are still open if you have any family or friends who would like to enter, but the race is filling up fast so make sure they enter now.

WELCOME – IMPORTANT RACE DAY INFORMATION
Thank you for joining us at our Run Middlewich 5K.
We are delighted to have our Race HQ at Middlewich Cricket Club once more.

Enjoy your pre- and post-race day experience at the Cricket Club. We will have refreshments, stalls, and something for all the family to enjoy!

RACE START INFORMATION
The Family Fun Run will start at 10:00AM at the Cricket Club. Numbers can be collected from the registration desk from 09:00AM.
The Holdcroft GWM Ora Middlewich 5K will start at 11:00AM at the Big Lock Pub. This is a five minute walk from the Cricket Club.

TRAVEL TO THE RACE
EVENT LOCATION: Middlewich Cricket Club, Haddon Field, Croxton Lane, Middlewich CW10 9EZ.

CAR & PAKING FACILITIES
There is no car parking available at the Cricket Club. Please use public parking facilities in Middlewich town centre.
Please do not park on Croxton Lane near the cricket club or blocking roads in this area.

NUMBER COLLECTION
All race numbers for the 5K Race and Family Fun Run are to be collected on the morning, from the registration desk at the Cricket Club.

NUMBERS
Your number must be attached to the front of your vest. Safety pins will be available. Please do not fold/cut/deface it in anyway. The timing chip is attached to the back of your number and is detected when you cross the start and the finish. Please do not run around the outside of the mat area or your time will not record.

Please also take the time to fill in your emergency contact details on the reverse of the number prior to running, in the unfortunate event of an emergency, these can help medics to treat you swiftly and appropriately.

Please DO NOT run is someone else’s number as it can cause problems with the results and distress should there be an incident and the wrong family are contacted.

TOILETS
Toilets are available at the Club House at the Cricket Club.

MEDICAL SERVICES
First aid is situated at various points along the course. Should you feel unwell during the race please let your nearest marshal know so we can arrange for First Aiders to get to you as quickly as possible. If you come across anyone injured or in distress, please report it to the nearest marshal who will be in contact with our event team and our first aid providers.
Please also fill in your personal details section on the reverse of your race number. This greatly assists the First Aid staff, should you require first aid or medical treatment!

WATER 
Bottled water will be available at the finish line of the race.

RESULTS
Timing and results will be available at Results as soon as possible after the race has finished. Simply go to the Middlewich 5K race page and click on the link. If you entered your mobile number into your entry details you should receive a text shortly after you finish.

FINISHER MEDAL & GOODIE BAG
All runners will receive our iconic Run Middlewich 5K Medal or Fun Run Medal. You will also receive a goodie bag and water at the finish line.

We really hope that you enjoy the day as we continue to make this a great community event for Middlewich.
